Project Romero – Trans Allies Thank You Mod Under way
On The 25th of January, kevansevans, posted to the ZDoom forums projects thread looking for mappers, artist, and scripters to work on a “Trans Allies Thank You Mod” to show support for John Romero after the black lash caused by Romero’s joining of the HBoomerGuy charity stream for trans youth.
I personally find identity politics to be divisive, only further driving the wedge into the lines that divide us. The reaction some had to the charity stream being case in point.
None the less, as of March 5th, work on the project has began. If this is something you are passionate about and would like to support the project you can find the original thread here.
SlackBuild script for quake-par utility
I recently submitted par (under the name quake-par), a quake pak archive utility, to slackbuilds. You can use it to pack, unpack or list the contents of Quake I and Quake II pak archives.
